Antigua sits in a valley ringed by three volcanoes, and the coffee tastes like it: dense, chocolatey and a little smoky at the edges. This lot from Finca El Valle brings baking spice and a toffee finish. A classic for drip brewers and anyone who takes their coffee with a splash of cream.

The cocoa note is right there from the first sip. Guatemala Antigua has become my default morning coffee.

Best pour over in months
Brewed on a V60 at 1:16 and got a gorgeous cup: cocoa, baking spice, and a clean finish.

Great, a little pricey
Really enjoyable, especially the toffee in the finish. Wish the 2 lb bag were a touch cheaper.
